IDENTIFY, IDENTIFY!!! is an extraordinary graphic history of the Dominican revolution that began on April 24, 1965. This work combines photographs and texts by Thimo Pimentel, then a 24-year-old young man recently graduated from a doctor, whose audacity allowed him to convert what his The eye saw through the lens of his camera in graphic memory of the political events that, in addition to a civil war, gave rise to the third US military intervention in the Dominican Republic. The photographs, that kind of graphic testimony that constitutes this work, narrate in black and white, from the first hours, the constitutionalist revolt, the North American military intervention and obviously, the photographer's vision of the fratricidal conflict. The snapshots that make up this historical album, whose negatives were kept for more than forty years at the house of a friend of the author in Spain, also attest to the high artistic sensitivity of Thimo Pimentel.
