The intelligent Vega grows up in a small community in the Dominican Republic, in the tortuous and stifling 1970s. She goes to public school and, along with five other mischievous students, learns the meaning of friendship and love, until an unexpected crime he discovers the interdependence of the inhabitants in a corruption scheme that splashes everyone, because in the town no one is innocent: the priest is considered a pedophile; to the madman of the town, for raping chickens; to the director of the school, for being a pimp who impregnates mothers and daughters; to the teachers, for heartless communists; to the police chief, for being corrupt; to the doctor, for practicing illegal abortions; to the officials and military of the Government, for murderers of soul and body.
But Vega claims to have found a divine solution to the debacle caused by the body of his best friend's peerless beauty. The madman and his bees, a teenager with spiritual powers and herself, with her gift of interpreting and organizing the signs of the times based on the certainty that "now" does not exist, will participate.
